Gunting as EDC

I carry it everyday but barely ever use it. I keep it in the Skunkworks kydex holster on my belt. There are far more practical knives in the Spyderco lineup to serve my everyday utility tasks.
 
Every day on duty (along with a Military for cutting chores).

99% of the time off-duty (along with a Talonite EDC for cutting chores).
 
I keep the Drone in my truck at all times and wear it on my person when I'm in unfamiliar territory.
 
Carry mine everyday! Steve, you sure are missing a good time at this Beach Seminar! Bram is really in fine form(means as you know "pain")!!
Wish he had "YOU" to demo on!:D

Was really bummed about not being able to make it down, due to a last minute change on my end.

I'm planning to buy one for EDC. A short blade combined with a large handle looks very controlable for daily chores.

Mr.Bram Frank's three volume of "Gunting" were quite educative, needless to say interesting. I want to play some Gunting techniques when I get one (as he recommended in the video). But, it's not very practical to take a knife into SD situation even if closed. Here in Japan, knife carry for SD is not cosidered lawful at all.
Okay, I'll buy one anyways for utility purpose. If dear forumites put compliments on Gunting as EDC, I'll appreciate and be happier. Thanx in advance.
 
Get the Drone for EDC,(most people will feel the pain if you need to apply it, immediately)!Drone's blade is dull,great for practice,only bad thing ,is lack of people to demo on,once most get practiced on, don't want to play anymore!

jim, thanx for reply. But I have budget constraints as I'm buying "real" Gunting, and a drone will double its cost... If Mr.Bram Frank might visit Japan for a seminar, I'll buy a drone somehow.
 
Since the seminar in Miami last weekend, the drone is in my pocket...

EDC - on my belt (in skunk kydex).

This is the one knife I never part with.

Also carry other folders for chores and a fixed blade - cause I love them...

Bram - Larry said he loved the seminar and wants you to go on demonstrating on him forever....LOL
 
Anybody know where I can get the training videos for cheap? I took a seminar with Bram himself but it was only for a few short hours. I'd like to become REALLY proficient with the Drone.
 
Bram, who are Yoshi & Ichiro ? As far as I know, Japanese LEOs are extremely restricted with their equipment on duty. Will be a tough job to persuade them, but I'd like to see how the CRMIPTs serve them.

I got a Gunting, a real one, as an EDC. One of my pal got one at the same time. We'll get drones to play Gunting techniques with each other some near future. Sponsoring a seminar? Too few people know or are interested in Gunting by now. Maybe when Japanese police employs CRMIPTs, carry Gunting drones.
