Gunting clip question??

I've got a Gunting on the way; right now its sitting all alone at the post office because the stupid mailman didn't check to see if anyone was home and just left a notice and now I have too wait till Monday! But my question is this,and don't get me wrong(Bram)I totally understand the reason for the spoon type clip but "if" it doesn't grow on me are the screw holes the same pattern for a standard
Spydie clip? And again love the design of the Gunting but I'm not sure how I'll like the big clip. Any thoughts or have any of you guys done this too yours?

Looking at my Gunting and my Viele, they do appear to be the same. However, I really like the spoon clip as it holds the knife securely in my pocket (though I usually wear it in a skunkworks sheath), definitely does add to the ergonomic function of the knife (grip changes, grip security, etc). I find it to be a totally seamless integration of the knife's concept, much more so than most clips which are tacked on afterwards so you can carry the knife in your pocket. Though I'm usually in favor of modifying things to suit your preferences, in this case I think it would lead to a reduction in the utility of the Gunting to change the clip.
