Okay. I decide to get A gunting, but I got A couple of questions. Bram said that the pocket clip would be black. So far all I have seen are silver. So are they/will they be black or not? Does anyone have pics or ordering info for the belt sheath and shoulder rig? TIA, Brian

Hi Brian. This is the first I've heard of a black clip. Probably need to get Bram here?

He also has all of the info on the aftermakert carry.

Thanks Sal. I posted this over on Bram's forum too, but I think he is out of town until the 16th or so. I was reading all the posts I could find on the Gunting and Bram mentioned the clip would be black in at least two of them. I must say that in my opinion it is A good idea. I love the design and understand the function of the clip, but it is not exactly low profile. Being dark would help. Perhaps I could color it with A gun blue? Any plans for black blades? TIA

On the intro tape Bram wears an open kydex sheath, red color for the drone. Similar to the REKAT Pocket hobbit design, the sheath holds the Gunting just below the middle/ramp.

Ok..I'm back from SOF..The GUNTING was a big hit..as usual..( gads I'm getting jaded!)..jet lagged etc..and I did reply on my forum..
Yes, we, ( SPYDERCO and I) discussed black for clips, and it was a minor detail, but if you guys knew what SPYDERCO went through just to make my and the R&D teams novel little clips..well..you can forgive me and them for dropping the ball on black clips..and no they actually don't stand out that much..and yes black or slate grey would make them less obvious!
Contact Frank at SKUNKWORKS at SKUCONSOL@ aol.com for shoulder rigs..yes I have one..it's great!and SKUNKWORKS made and designed all the REKAT Kydex sheaths such as the Pocket Hobbit sheaths, the old Escalator Sheaths and now they make the color coded GUNTING Sheaths..They will soon be available from SPYDERCO SFO and are currently available well as from CSSD-Video Quest..contact George at gdenson@wave-net.net 1-800-340-9664
