My Gunting trainer now rubs the liner when I open it. What should I do to correct this?

Is the pivot pin fairly tight? If the blade swings out easily, it's too loose. I find once you tighten up the pin, everything lines up as it should.

I tried tightening up the pivot, but if I tighten it any more it becomes very hard to open. I may just send it back to customer service.

Dozens of Guntings have passed through my hands without any issues like you describe. The matched set I picked for my very own had a trainer that rubbed.
