This is a great follow-up to the photos with Bram Frank. Very cool knife and sheath. I'm tempted, but then I'm also very tempted to get the Persian in part because of your stunning photos.
 
I like the Gunting. I would love to have one in S30V with a plainedge. Unfortunately they are now only made with combo-edge, so I wont be getting one. :(
 
whats wrong with a combo edge? they were designed with a combo edge in mind..

I'd go for a plain edge in S30V myself. Then again, I don't have a problem with 440V, so I'll probably just do that.

Bram, I love the design. Personally I think the Gunting is pure genius. A lot of thought went into making such a tool. But, I have a strong preference for plain edge. Its just a personal preference thing. If i could find a plain edge S30V model, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat.
 
OUTSTANDING pictures, Simona! Bram told me about them at the Eugene show. Another batch is in the works. GREAT pictures!
