There's going to be a Gunting Seminar in Clearwater Florida on April 26-27
Saturday 26th: 12 noon - 6 pm..
Sunday 10am - 4pm..
that should give you time to arrive and leave...
Gunting Instructors..get a handle on teaching the format.
Newbees get a handle and understanding of the Gunting..

HMMM... maybe I can get off work at 6 a.m., hop on a plane, and be there by noon? Probably not with the homeland security delays. Maybe I can get really lucky and find someone to work for me Friday night. Any news on a Texas seminar yet? :)

No word on Texas..its in their court right now..
They haven't contacted me or George yet with a date....

Class on Tuesday is ONLY 5-6PM (Arnis)
Thursday is 5-6pm (Arnis) then 8-9PM (MBC)..or so..Last thursday only 9:30..the week before 10:30PM..

Someone is willing to work for me Friday night before the seminar! :) Now for the rest of the logistics and planning. 1003 miles, 16.5 hours drive time. Hmmm; drive or fly?

I may need to look into getting a diesel-powered VW for all these seminars I want to attend. 49 mpg is looking pretty good right now. :)

Hey Bram! I will be thoroughly checking the Jeep this evening, doing some PM, and if it's good to go, will start driving east late tonight or Friday morning. It will be really good to finally receive some hands-on training. One question: is any special equipment needed? Thanks for everything! :)
 
Thanks, Jim! :) I was planning to wear BDU pants and "normal" clothes unless advised otherwise. I will of course bring my red Gunting drone and CRMIPT. BTW, does anyone know of major road work along the I-10 corridor between Houston and FL, or along the major north-south freeways on FL's west coast. I already know about the quagmire INSIDE Houston. Thanks
