ok, i don't know if you guys wanna do it like this or do it another way, should we do the reviews on a separate thread or continue it from the previous one and make it like 20 pages long? if you wanna do it on this new thread, go ahead, i give the honors to someone else, perhaps Bram himself or Steve or the greatest partner in the world, Master BOK, to post the first review. if not, all i need is one of you to say ," screw this, continue it from the other one" and i'll just ignore this thread i've started.

go!

:D

bruised,beaten,cut,scraped,whooped,thrown,dragged,wretched,locked,
punched...and LOVING it!!!!! argh!

I don't mind a separate thread for the course review... If I could get my hands on a gunting I don't mind getting some training.

Yes the seminar was great!

Bram is a great guy who knows his ****. This is not rocket science. You see an opening...you take advantage...the tool will give you the leverage you need on anyone no matter how big, small, strong, whatever...

Steve - well Steve is a big guy and aXed managed to put him in enough pain for him to wince and tap out. She did the same to Bram and the same to me (only on me it was all day long!:) )

Mr. Stinky showed aXed and I some sweet take down kicks for those that choose to show a little extra resistance.

As for Master BOK...well I shall wait for recovery before I choose to call myself that again...for now it's just BOK....no master here...

ok, so a litte continuation (sp) here:

the concepts i got alright, this was after all my first time training in anything what-so-ever

Bram was so cool to give Bok and I some quick tips before he showed the class, same with Steve and Frank

thanks Frank for showing me that leg take down, I'm sure BOK loves you for that :D

as for Shana, Greg, and Peter, they were SO patient with us. Man, Greg is the patientest nicest guy i've ever met, so damn quick too!

i had the most fun during Day 2: Slam n' Jam. i swept the floor with BOK, Bram swept the floor with BOK, Frank swept the floor with BOK, BOK had LOADS of fun :D

so much to say! so little room! have to continue later!

ps: you kicked ass BOK! thanks for being my partner!

BOK! Sounds like you had fun man. Working as the "demonstration dummy" can be fun and you can learn a lot. Some people don't get that.

BOK was really up to it..He asked questions and got immediate answers..not once did he EVER flich from asking..
Ok maybe a touch when aXed and others asked in his name for him....
That's a very cool guy..As for aXed..welll she's in a class by herself..
One of the most enthusiastic happy campers at the seminar..
and she LIKES hurting people...
Actually the whole HOK crowd was truly fun to work with..
They picked up the conceptual usage of the Gunting very very quickly..

aXed was a credit to "it's not rocket science"..no previous training and BAM she got it...

Thanks to all my Gunting helpers..and the rest of the attendees..

Bram

I'm impressed with how much material you guys all absorbed..

Three Count
Application of THree Count
Slash n Cover..
Application of Slash n Cover
Horizontal Vertical...5 ways of entry
Thumb & Finger control
just to name a bit of what we did....

If you guys want day to day training.well go see Tiny..Mr Steve is a top notch instructor...

be safe

Bram

HOK groupies...remember to move your feet..if you move your feet the Gunting moves with you..
Don't reach. let it come..absorb it..follow it back home..
Barrier? remove it but keep moving towards home..
the main target..
Don't forget the issue is to hit the BG...

multipul hits are as good as one solid hit..

So on the entry..close-Gunt, step in moving the barrier, then hit...
CHECK? remove the barrier and hit again...

see ya

Bram

thanx for the reminder Bram. we'll make sure tiny keeps us in check when we train...

Thanks for the refresher Bram.

Gotta train and practise, practise, pratise...

Got lotsa school and lotsa HOK these days but I have to make time for some G training too.

This time of year is always so damn hectic.

all of you will do fine..
Go slow..
yup this time of year is very busy and confusing..
remember that the conceptual move is just that..conceptual..not locked in stone..then comes application then translation..
CAT..Concept, Application, Translation....

hmm so apply the Gunting ideas to life and make it a safe happy holiday season for all of you..

be safe
Bram

Thanks for the words of wisdom Bram.

Busy time of the year......School, Work, Gunting practice and if anytime left, SLEEP!!!

Jim,
Sleep.....S,L,E,E.......ah damn it, I vaguely remember it when I only had school and work. After the gunting, the word doesn't ring a bell.

My wife has wondered why she keeps finding the Gunting training drone in the bed. Instead of sleepwalking, try "sleepgunting"!?!? Train and sleep at the same time. :)

hmm...Rex...
Ready to go at it 24/7! ;)
MAN I CANT WAIT TILL I GET MY DRONE!

Well, just to make y'all jealous, I now have a CRMIPT, too! Now, if only I could take time off from work to attend a seminar...
