Warrior North is sponsoring Bram Frank for a two day Martial Blade Craft (MBC)/ Gunting seminar in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

For additional info go to : www.WarriorNorth.com and check out the "events" page.

Hmmm intresting.... This time I might have enough money to go if I start saving now and stop buying so many blades. So $210 for the course, another few hundred for the blade and trainer and I am set.

I hope Bram makes it out again next year. I can't make it to this one.

I know he'll be back though. We have the best Sushi at the best prices!!

BOK:
you and the HOK gang should come..its my 50th Birthday that weekend officially..
It would be nice to see you there with aXEd etc..
OK??

be safe

Bram

Wow, I thought it was gonna happen sometime in August.......but sooner the better. I have no problems with that. Training on Bram's B-day.......I think PAIN is in store for everyone.:D

Wow, so far, this thread has not got as much hype as the last seminar. This has got to pick up. Here, it suppose to be gunting-ville.

Steve,
Early??? Haha, its almost MARCH!!!!......which means the seminar is only about 5 months away......ok, maybe its a little early.....

Five months sounds about right to me. I have the Gunting, the drone is on back order from spyderco supposedly & will arrive with the tape sometime in the next couple of weeks ( I ordered both from Bram) so now if I can just save the cash to fly from S.F. to Vancouver I will be there - unless of course Bram decides to come back to the Bay area before then for some reason (he says hopefully) ;)

Take care & Stay safe

Simonp,

With references to Al Polkowski, Krav Maga and San Fran in your profile, you'll fit right in with the CSSD crew. :D

Round trip from here to SF was around $140 CDN when I last checked. (That's about $24.99 USD)

Hopefully we'll see ya in July.

Hey Steve,

I can't belive those exchange rates, wow. If a flight really is that cheap out there ( I haven't even looked into travel arrangements yet) then I will most likely be out there for the seminar.

I have been looking for an excuse to go to B.C. anyways, been thinking of relocating out of CA & Vancouver is a possible location.

See you in July.

Simon

OK, the exchange isn't quite that good/bad (depending on your perspective), but is about 1.50 +/-. The flights are that cheap the last time I checked.

'mericuns still have a lot of buying power when the travel up north. Resort property is selling like crazy too.

Check out: http://www.tourismvancouver.com/docs/visit/ for more info on the city. If there is anything I can do for you on my end, just let me know. ;)

Steve

The Vancouver seminar will be after the Commandments of Steel in Israel and directly following the Modern Arnis Symposium..
I'll probably be in a bit of un PC mode by the time I get to Vancouver../
I guess we should do a bit of actual Bio mechanical cutting..and do some cutting on the old meat..
chickens beware!!!

Ok Ok...
review of Impact Gunting- CRMIPT
5 ways of entry: Sinawali application...
Bio Mechanical Cutting
FLOW Drill with insert drills
thrusting disram drill
Quadrant response

Be safe..

Thanks for the offer Steve its very kind :) I checked out the prices and you are close - looks like for about $400 I can get a roundtrip ticket and 2 nights stay in downtown Vancouver - if I can stay employed that is very doable with enough cash left over for a couple of candian beers and some good sushi!
As for help - any job leads in Vancouver? just kidding, sort of :) seriously though is the studio walking distance from downtown Vancouver or will I need a car rental?

Thanks
Simon

Staying closer to Vancouver International Airport in Richmond will be cheaper and closer to the training location than downtown. If you want to see downtown Vancouver, we can all make a roadtrip (20 min drive) after one of the sessions or sometime Friday or Monday if your around.

Beer , sushi, Dim Sum, Thai, Indian, Italian, whatever..........the only place that comes close is Tel Aviv. :D

Simon,
If you can, you should definitely come. A whole weekend of training, sushi and fun in Vancouver. If I remember correctly, Vancouver is one of Bram's favorite cities in the world.

DAMN!!!!!
Wish I could make it out to the Commadments
this year :grumpy:
Count me in for next year though.
I'll see you all out for the Vancouver seminar, I'll try to stay for the entire class this time. :D

Simon, what is it you do? If your serious about coming to Canada eh, some of us may be able to send out some feelers etc...

VAPOR......
