Just got this in today in what was possibly the fastest turnaround shipping of anything I've bought. Blade was sold as a blem and I can see where the tang isn't even with the scales but it's not a big deal to me. Hacked at a piece of firewood but will put it to better use later. The knife is pure awesomeness. Ran it through the Worksharp because that's how I roll. Love this blade. Shop with confidence from Gurkha Knives.

Looks really cool, like a Suex (sp!)

I have spent a lot of time with Nepalese blades and manufactures, but I haven't heard of Gurkha Knives. Interesting.

Thank you for the look. Keep us posted as you get some more use. I am tempted, I really have no need but that might not stop me for long.

Did a quick goggle search for these, nothing specific turned up. Looks good. Where did you get this from?

I bought here on BF off the knife makers exchange from "Gurkha Knives". I've been too busy to get out and chop with it, but it seems ideally suited for the task.

Nice-looking hand tool.

What does it do and how well?

It's definitely a chopper but has good geometry and balance so I imagine it will excel at many tasks. Huge utility blade. Price was right. Still need to take it out to the woods for a breaking in.
