Col. Denzil D'Cruz was awarded an Ashoka Chakri , for bravery in the Naga uprisings, and also served with Mad Mike in Burma in WW11 , I was fortunate enough to obtain several of his Kukris from his widow Barbara following his death, Barbara D;Cruz has remained a great friend, and is currently writing a book about being the wife of a Gurkha officer. Denzil was a one time commanding Officer of the 5th Gurkha Rifles and also served with the 9th WW11, and later the 6th.

Tom, Jan 59, it is from a newspaper cutting I have so quality is not so good , but thought the Guard of Honour (or whatever their called) may be of interest. Cheers Rod

Pretty sure I've seen that one (or similar) before. Still enjoyable the 2nd time around.

Thanks!
