Gurkhas lose discrimination claim

This famous English linguist and explorer once met an African tribe whose words for "politician" and "liar" were the same.
 
The Gurkhas are fighting an uphill struggle. They are trying to argue about 'human rights' with a government that is 50% unelected, that has banned the carrying of the humble pocket knife and who force the population to purchace a license just for buying a TV.

It's a sad, sad situation.

Edited to add: it even looks like the Prime Ministers wife was representing the Gurkhas against the Government! :grumpy:
