Just finished this one. Shes on her way to " Big Sky Country " :)
This was my first attempt at working with ironwood. Very, very nice material, and there will certainly be many more to come with ironwood handle scales & blocks.

Specs on this one are as follows:

-Steel: 1/4" 5160 @ 59-60 HRC (actually finished at .230 after surface grinding of the ricasso area)
- Construction : tapered full tang ; full flat grinds ; soldered & pinned guard ; filed thumb ramps
- Handle Scales : Ironwood Burl with black liners
- Hardware : Nickel Silver Guard ; Nickel Silver handle bolts ; Nickel Silver lanyard tube
-Overall Length : 12-3/8"
-Blade Length : 7-3/8"
-Sheath : 8-9 oz. Veg tanned leather ; hand sewn w/Barbour's pure flax sinew ; brown dye w/neatsfoot oil finish

I hope you like her. Sorry, the pics are crap ! I used my daughters new camera and packaged her up and shipped before looking at them. DUMB! All of them have a date stamp in the worst possible spot for any given pic (which I cropped out). Lighting is BAD! Blurry! Blah, blah, blah ! ;)

I'm coming for some professional pictures very soon COOP. Very soon! :)

David, that is a great looking blade! Nice work.

It looks like an awesome go-to woods knife.

Great looking knife and sheath. The ironwood handes sets the knife off. the hand rub blade is nice and clean. This is what I call a first class work. I love that David, and thanks for showing it to all of us.

Thanks monster  Blade width on GUS is 1-7/8" (also ;)) I shot an email back at you this morning. Thanks again :)
