Hi there guys,

Here are the test knives Gustavo is taking to Atlanta, plus one in damascus he made for sale at the show. Hope you like the sneak pics...

Nice bowie with filework on the spacers, mother-of-pearl escutcheon and maple handle. I say it's a very cool knife.. not much traditional, but still not "design heavy" so to say.

Classic camp knife. Rosewood handle and fat blade for heavy chopping.

Integral hunter with filework and imbuia burl handle.

Another hunter with lacewood handle.

This is a very interesting knife. In fact Gustavo made his cut n' bend test with this very same model when Jerry Fisk last came to Brazil. It's sort of southwestern meets brazilian integrals sort of design, and it worked pretty well IMHO. I love the short clip and the choil design.

Last but not least, "The Moon" - gaucho style integral in the makers damascus and some sort of burl I am not sure what it is, and silver textures spacer.

Here's a detail.

Thanks for looking.

SOME TERRIBLE NEWS

I just learned that Gustavo's flight from his hometown to Rio de Janeiro where he was boading to Atlanta was canceled and therefore he lost his flight to Atlanta. He managed to get into another flight but his expected arriving in Atlanta this morning was 7:30 AM and the testing would begin 8:00 AM this morning.

I just knew that, otherwise I would have posted here looking for help, that someone could pick him up at the airport and haul ass to the Galeria... I don't know. But it's too late for that now.

Someone in the show was trying to talk to Jerry Fisk to see if there was a chance that he could submit his knives later on today, or as soon as he arrives.

So, can anyone search for news on this subject please? We are all anxious here in Brazil to know if he made it in time or not. Probably not, but there's always some hope. We're a tight group of friends here, and we're all worried.

So if anyone can help - please?

Thanks!

Gustavo is in Atlanta...at Blade...I imagine that he is trying to get an "allowance" for the delayed flight to permit his testing.....I don't know what the result of that request will be.

Whether they let him test or not, those knives look great! Best of luck to him.
