I went fishing this weekend a gutted a few fish with my small Sebenza. I don't see a much mention of people doing this with this knife but it worked very well.

I could see it being highly effective at gutting trout. Maybe if some buddies of mine would take me with them on fly-fishing trips, I could try it out...

Professor- You need to get some real friends that will take you fly fishing when they go.

The Sebby does an excellent job on fish and I really like the simple working of the knife. With a good stiff brush and some soap it is very easy to clean up after a chore like that.

Sebenza cleans up fine with dish soap after 'cleaning work', its the lanyard that gets worst of it.

I cleaned mine up in the stream since we were fishing in fresh water. When I got home I took it apart and put some tuff cloth on it. No problems.

m2fun, I always get rid of the lanyard as soon as I get the knife. I know some guys like them, but for me they don't do anything except get dirty and in the way. I wash my knife most everyday. I like a clean blade so I can use it on food prep or anything else. It just cleans up easier. If you really like the lanyard then disregard my view. I like Chris's two stage clip though.
