guyon sheath question

guyon can you tell me what type of sheaths you had pictured with your knife and multitool thread tyred search but can't find them want that set up for my ash's when they come. will be perfect for life on the river. thanks
hope it's not to fuzzy of a memory for ya. it's 9:00 p.m you have an hour till break time.

thanks a bunch Ham Solo that place beat the price i found buy 20$ now to find out which one for the ash.
 
thats th post i was looking for what a shame there arn't more sizes. thanks for finding that post i looked for 20min through guyons post. i need 2 of those sheaths;)
 
Hey Tyrkon will your ASH fit in your spec ops without the liner? Is it the liner keeping it from fitting or is the nylon too narrow as well. Im asking because I was thinking of getting a piece of Kydex and making a custom liner.

If it does fit, that's a good idea. Here's one I made about a year ago for an M6. It worked great. :thumbup:

Thats exactly what Im thinking. Maybe i wont even add the rivets though. lets see what Tyrkon has to say. i just ordered two more Survivals from TAD a couple days ago so im hoping its just a matter of the liner being too narrow. Greg that does look really sweet man. Good job.
 
As for the post in question, all the sheaths were/are Spec-Ops Combat Masters.

Okay, I just took the liner out and the ASH fits fine width wise. However, I have the small that fits up to 6" knives. Now if you remove the screw at the bottom that holds in the liner it fits no problem length wise. You could just glue the liner in place. Or order the longer model. and the screw would not get in thr way.

I am going to try a few things and will post it if it works. ;)
 
thanks for all the info guys i just bought 2 of the 7.5 inchers will do the work required to make them fit rite. 61.78$ for 2

I am guessing that you just have to redo the liner and your ASH will fit fin. Remember pics when you finish. ;)
