Guy's and gal's that Use their CRK's where do you buy yours. From a dealer on the forums?

I have a bakers dozen plus a few more. I've only bought 3 from a dealer, the rest on BF. 2 of the 3

were from the special edges site with the deep discounts.

What about you, nib or a couple of snail trails or less for $50 or more $ less ?
 
I buy mine new from dealers, then turn them into "no longer NIB".

I just like it that way. Buying used is fine, but I very rarely do it.
 
I have bought a few (maybe 4 or 5?) new and the rest right here off the exchange. I usually prefer to buy with some discount and marks because that makes it easier to use it!
 
As someone who only uses and collects lefty CRK I have bought mine in a variety of ways. Several have been purchases from the exchange, some brand new from dealers, a few from other lefty forum friends and I currently have more than I care to admit to on order directly from CRK.
 
I have bought just about all of my stuff new from dealers or CRK. The odd regular sebenza or one piece knife here and there would be the only dent to that. :)

The smart mans buy is clearly the light user for a few bucks off. A pocket tumbled, twice sharpened large Sebenza for <400$ is the used BMW M5 of the knife world. :D:thumbup:
 
^^^^I've had a few now and all were exactly as Haze described above. Works for me.
 
I just got my first one, sebenza 25. I bout it off of the forum. The only defect is that the tip is just a tiny tiny bit flat, and easy fix and for under $300 how can you go wrong?
 
Yup, my most satisfying CRK thus far has been a <$300 used small micarta 21. Absolute perfection as far as action and usage is concerned. The scotchbrite finish the previous user applied saved me some bucks and honestly improved the looks on this micarta inlay.
