Remember a couple or days I posted about the wave vs the swisstool and ended up buying a LM mini tool instead?...Anyway today I was in a hunting and fishing store and found the best tool ever! (for me that is) I did not even know about this model of Leatherman...So I purchased it! It's the Leatherman Pulse. What an awesome tool! Every thing I need even the scissors! The weight is ok to carry in my pocket and all the tools lock. I returned the mini tool and got my money back. I am now the proud owner of a Leatherman Pulse!!

Awww shoot! If you liked locking tools, you should have gotten the Swiss Tool! No tool clumping, the unlock feature is smooth not unlike the Pulse which can and will bust your fingers. And you know what? One time I was using the mini screwdriver on the Pulse and saw it slightly twisting due to normal use! Talk about quality. I'm sticking with the Swiss! :(

yes, the mini screwdiver in LM's tool are always being Fxxked...... ;) stick with swiss....

your guys are right...the swisstool is solid but I wanted to carrie a multi-tool and not a box of tool...the swisss is heavy as hell!!
The pulse is simple made and has all the tools I normaly use and the best of all I can still fit it im my pocket and not feel it. Try doing that with the swisstool and you'll need a reinforced belt and suspenders!! :D
I'm more than happy with the Pulse!
Oh! an another thing I needed a long nose plier on a multitool which the swisstool does not have ;)

Well, it's you not us (Swisstool guys). Just a recommendation, really. No hard feelings... :grumpy: :D

I had a Swisstool, awesome. Heavy. I have carried a pulse for a long time. I use it, literally, all the time. Hard too. I did break the baby screwdriver, prying, but Leatherman sent me a new tool. When weight matters, imo, Pulse rules the market.

You guys (swisstool guys :)) mentioned that the pulse's tools would come out in a bunch when wanting only one tool. That is very true! But on another hand, when I tried out the swisstool I had a hard time getting some of the tools out...just like most of the victorinox pocket knives. So I still like the pulse better! :p ;)

I think the Pulse is an excellent EDC tool. I'm sure the Swisstool is very solid but just a little bit heavy. My pants are heavy enough as they are! :D
Two days ago I ordered a Charge Ti. When I get it I will write a little review and post some pictures. I wonder how it compares to my Wave...
