I'd like to get a Schempp Bowie and I have big hands. Is the handle going to be long enough without

using the choil?

I asked the same question about the Southard. Some guys said the handle is long enough.

My little finger doesn't have enough room the handle.

From this great review by subwoofer: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...rco-Schempp-Bowie-(3-7-quot-blade-–-CPM-S30V)

He wear's XL gloves. for reference.

Thanks for the gif hoinim, I'm not going to buy the bowie. The handle it too small for me if I have to use the

choil to have enough room to hold the knife.

No problem, clockman. Spyderco's got some big handled options out there. What type of blade are you looking for?
If you just need something you can hold and don't mind it being a pocket sword, check out the Farid K2 or the Tatanka, or the Ulize.
If you are looking for an EDC blade with a substantial handle, the Military, or the Gayle Bradley 2 might be a better fit.
