Here is my current GW collection as of today. I know it's a crappy picture.

BTW is it normal for the Ram Horn to have a noticeable odor?

Very nice set!!!
Can we get a spine shot, I would like to see the difference in thicknness,
assuming they are not all the same

Bro - does it smell like oil?

There's a little oil on the knife -- just wipe it down really good and it should be okay. Unless something bad happenned to it along the way

Oh you got one of Skunks stinky Wardens. If you do not like it just send it over to me and I will take care of it.

I mean come on - why do you think they call him Skunk?? ;)

I think some rem-oil might take care of it. Thanks.

I just checked a couple of knives with ram horn handles (not Busse) and some raw horn. There isn't much of an odor. Does it have a burnt smell? It might be left over from grinding and polishing. If it gets hot, it will smell kind of like burned hair.

I don't know if the sheep horn that Busse uses is stablized or not. Does it smell like plastic?

By the way, I am in AZ. I use camellia oil on my horn and wood handles. It keeps them from shrinking.
