Ok, I can't post a poll, but I would like to know since a lot of people keep singing the praises of the GW.

1. Who actually regularly uses their GW? (fondling and other such similar activity does not count!)

2. If you use it, will you really use it as a ... skinner or to field dress game?

Just wondering since so many people seem to think this knife would be great for that particular activity. Thanks!

I am edcing my GW right now at work I am a computer tech/all around helpdesk person.

2. I use it, I used it to strip some cable today and I am gonna take it archery and squirrel hunting when the season opens, I have used it around the kitchen. Its a very useful lil knife.

It is great for edc, it has a nice build, slim profile and I feel more secure with it then a folder:thumbup:

I agree with Barrabas74
I also EDC mine everywhere. I use it for everything form opening boxes, to cutting/stripping wire, and when hunting season opens I'll use it for those purposes as well!
And even though it's only a three inch blade, it acts MUCH bigger!

I don't use mine and I doubt it'll ever skin anything. It feels nice in my hand, and is very good company while watching TV.

I haven't had mine long, but it is my EDC now. And I do mean every day and everywhere. When I pull it out I still can't believe I have INFI for EDC! It would make a really good hunter for anything up to deer, or anything you prefer a 3" blade for, but I like my BA3 for that. Plus, I keep a differnt angle on the blade for a hunter as compared to a EDC. Mine gets used very hard and in dirty enviorments. I was sick of keeping a folder clean, and most of all, sharp. I was so dang sick of fixing chips in that junk AUS-8 I had. Not that all AUS-8 is that bad, just the heat treat on mine. I also need some stain resistance so that is a plus. It's a great little knife, very handy! If someone was considering it for a hunter/skinner I would recomend it.

i just got one, i'm thinking it's maybe a little too small, but on the other hand, it is probably big enough for most office chores, and it is one of the only fixed blades i can carry at work without attracting negative attention (i work in a law office)...
If anything, i wish it were just a little bigger, both in length and width (and thickness) -- but then, doesn't everyone (tee hee -- sorry for the double-entendre...)

I took mine kayak-camping. Made fuzz sticks for the fire, food prep, general duty... No field dressing yet, maybe this winter. Sweet little blade.

Mine is the thinner LE, for what it's worth.
