Hey all,
I'm looking for a gym bag.. my current one is just an old jansport backpack that I stuff shoes and shorts/t-shirts into. I just run + lift weights. It kinda smells now.
Anybody got a good idea for a gym bag?
TIA!

Try the County Comm BOB. Plenty of room for you gloves, straps, wraps, etc and a great price point. The pockets allow you to compartmentalize all of your stuff so you know just where it is. I had an old Nike bag I used with one large main compartment and found myself constantly sifting through al my stuff to find what I wanted. The other plus on the BOB is that it can also be used for other non-gym related activities.

Although I EDC the CC BOB, I wouldn't use it as a gym bag. Especially if you're carrying clothes and stuff around. I just use a big old duffel bag with end pockets. .

Bump.

I'd really like to hear of a decent gym bag too - always looking.

I can't remember the maker of the one I have but its called a locker bag. Semirigid frame that fits nicely into your locker, with room for everything. Not huge. I'll loook at it tonite and post tomorrow.

Check the hardware stores. I know it sounds odd but I have several tool bags I use for everything from gym gear to range bags. Very study and usually much cheaper than gym/gun stuff.

Hi All-

Shann, the product you're likely trying to remember is the Ogio gym locker bag. My previous experience with this company was with a toiletry kit that was serviceable for several years.

Ayoungman, if you're only carrying sneakers, shorts, tee-shirts, gloves, weightlifting belt, and perhaps a racquet you'll find a simple bag provides much more utility than a multi-compartment bug-out bag replete with hardware, velcro, compression straps, and other whiz-bang additions. Good luck!

Blue Jays: thats right its an Ogio. I used it quite a bit when I had the energy to go to the gym and I liked it. A little small for sweatsuit, towels and shoes, though. Very high quality. They also make golf bags and I 've got one of those too.

I just picked up a duffel at Eastern Mountain Sports. The EMS bags are nice for the money. They have several bags that should work well. www.ems.com

LL Bean has an extremely nice gym bag for around $50. It even has a pocket to hold your shoes. They stand behind their bags too; my brother's backpack wore out after about 8 years of use and they sent a new one within weeks. They even let him pick a new color.
