Did someone recently mention that Parker continues to "manufacture" balisongs, even though they no longer import them from Japan, for the "CUSTOMary" reasons? My understanding is that this is the case, although I recently acquired a 5 inch Gypsy. It looks new, and I'm wondering if it just well preserved, or got here by other means.

If Parker is still manufacutring the Gypsy line, then that's news to me.
I heard that Taylor might still be making balis, but they don't export.
