Anyone have one yet? I kinda like the style. Would love to know what you guys who have one think of it.

I have serial #081. As far as fit and finish, I have no complaints whatsoever. Came ultra razor sharp from the factory.
If you are into "ethnic" type knives (I definitely am...), you'll love it. I purchased it because of its unusual looks and it sits in my collection as a nice, out of the ordinary piece.
If you would like to buy it for EDC, well first of all it's one big blade (4.1 in). If the length of the blade is not a problem in your region (would that be the Calgary area? It seems your avatar is one of the NHL Guardians...The "Flame" I think? ... By the way, Boston Bruins fan here...:)...), the next thing to consider is that the blade has quite a small width in its smallest point (=where it connect with the rest of the knife) and I personally would not use it for heavy duty stuff (I carry a Strider SMF, maybe I am spoiled from this point of view...).
That said, I see no negative points for EDCing the Gypsy Jack.

That's it. :)

I EDC mine outside of work and really like it. Even though it is slimmer in width near the pivot it is far from flimsy.

Would be nice to see a vid on this knife. It looks too weird for me - seems like the blade should be about 6 inches long and go up against the CS Rajah lol.

I've had my Gypsy Jack for a week and have been carrying it, breaking in the action, and just analyzing it overall in preparation for a video overview. I had hoped to be the first with a YT video on this but I was beat to the punch. When I do my video, I will be speaking about the Gypsy Jack in its capacity as a backup to a handgun or as a primary / last ditch defense piece. That's what my YT channel is all about. This is in stark contrast to the other reviewer who doesn't think that the Gypsy Jack is necessarily suitable as a "tactical" folder. At first glance and without understanding some historical "tactical" folder designs, one might not see it as viable in non utility roles, but with a little research and practice, it can be understood for its all around functionality to include defensive use. Anyways, my impressions of the Gypsy Jack are obviously positive. I like the way it looks, feels, deploys, and handles. It is sleek and sexy and it stands out in a crowd. Out of all of the tac folders of the past few years that are based on the Spanish Navaja, this one wins the style contest for me. There are 2 things I would have done differently if I had any say. Here's what I would change in order of importance. 1. The lock: I don't generally like standard liner locks. I wish this was a frame lock. 2. The length of the blade: Historical fighting / "tactical" Navaja's were often large. I think Emerson could comfortably get away with selling a 5" bladed version of this and sell it equally as well as the 4.1" version. 3. So I guess I'd ultimately like a UBR Gypsy Jack frame lock. That's my story and I'm stickin to it ;)

What is the name of your YouTube channel?

nevermind - just looked it up. Obviously Spookyshogun. I'll check out your vids.

It is one of those knives that has a presence-it screams "come and get it". "It" being bad intent.

check out YouTube this guyreally likes Emerson's and it's well presented in my opinion.

Hey there. That's my review. Yeah I think it's a great blade and well suited for more or less any task you could put it up to just like any other Emerson. But like I said in the video, it's a very difficult knife for me to wave because of the long travel between the pocket clip and the wave. That's why I would say its not suited for a defensive blade.

Overall it's a beautiful blade and would be fine for edc. I would much prefer this over any cold steel rajah or spartan or espada for sure.
