Hello gentlemen. This is my first offering on the forum. Thanks to Andy for allowing me to post this knife. It's ATS 34 steel, 5/32", hollow-ground with a satin finish. 3 7/8" blade, 1" wide at ricasso. 8 1/4" OAL. Heat treated by Peters to a RC 60-61. I do all the other work. Green canvas micarta handle, with a fingergroove, is attached with bolts. Leather pouch sheath included. Great hunting/utility package for $175.00 with free shipping. Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think! Herb

That looks nice Herbert. I think this thread was locked by you by accident, so I unlocked it.

Very nice, utilitarian design you have there Herbert -- welcome to the forum! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future, but great first post

I like this. Looks like some of the blind horse handles but with a steeper drop point. I like the steel choice too. I've read a lot if good things regarding ATS-34. Never owned one though. You're making me curious:)

Hello emoney , Peters heat treatment on ATS-34 is amazing(RC 60-61). Holds a great edge. When it needs a touch-up , a crock-stick does the trick. I carry a stick to shows for when customers bring a knife back to me. Thanks for the look-see Herb

Nice knife Herbert. I am not the world's biggest fan of the hollow grind, but I love the below-center point and the over all blade profile very much. Nice work.

So when will you be at a gun show in Va. I'm an old plumber and I have several of your knives all excellent by the way.

Hello, Old Plumber. Thanks for the kind words. I am looking at the end of Oct or early Nov at RIR for a table. It is not confirmed yet. I will let you know. Herb
