Has the "pry bar" ever cause any problems? It looks like you could poke a hole in car seats, etc. Any problems with carry?

If so, you could always find a little rubber cap/sleeve to put over it.

Haven't heard about any holes poked in upholstry but we have had one pry bar tip to break off.

Not from mine, and it's spent most of it's time riding in a small daypack. Hasn't poked and holes in it yet.

I'm wearing mine on my belt horizontally. I thought it may poke me when I sit or bend at the waist but so far I haven't had any issues. I noticed a small wear mark in my jeans about where the prybar would sit, but can't say for sure if it is from the knife or just an older pair of jeans. I don't even really notice the prybar.

I've had a few occasions of coming close to ripping chairs covers with it but now that I'm more aware of the possibility I'm more careful. The idea of a protective cap on it makes sense though. Either that or it's going to be a pack knife only.

They make a cover that usually comes on some smaller tools that you get from Home Depot or Lowes that might fit over it. Don't know if you can get them separate or not though....
