Well, as soon as I get mine back from OST. I will be carrying it on the left side, horizontally to be drawn with the right hand. As soon as I get it back I will throw some pics up.

A question i was pondering myself. Im split between molle locks on my MaxP CondorII for hikes. Im going to experiment with a tekloc over the weekend with regard to belt carry.
I have only had mine a couple of days and am very mpressed with how it feels. Small but Im sure it can punch way above its weight.

Like above, i will post pics as and when I can.

in the pocket for EDC, I did a chord wrap through the holes of the kydex sheath to set it up for horizontal carry on one side and vertical carry on the other. If you wrap it tight it's nice and secure. My kydex is really starting to loosen up though, knife rattles badly in the sheath even after tightening the bolts.

Verynice day here today, so I thought I would go for a hike. First carry of the HEST, so it was all trial and error.
Molle clips fitted nicely, only drawback was when I tightened the screws securely the knife was almost impossible to get out of the sheath. I will fit some thin washers between the kydex to make the fit a little looser. I found that with the Molle clips fitted, it was not too bulky to pocket carry.

Once home I tried out a tekloc in various positions. I appologize for the picture quality, but its difficult taking a picture of yourself. I had to settle for a mirror shot.
Normal belt carry seemed a little high.

Rear carry seemd the most comfortable.

It was a beautiful Autumn day, quite warm for the time of year.

Spotted these and managed to get a shaky shot before they dissappeared.

First outing and I am very impressed with the HEST. It fits my hand well and is small enough not to stand out.
I like it very much:thumbup:

Nice pics Gunner  Gives me a good idea of how the knife carries in the different positions, appreciate it.

H.E.S.T. neck rig.

The thoughts behind this rig, stem from how I use my H.E.S.T., which is not as a EDC knife, but an emergency piece. It rides either in my small day pack, or more often in the center console of my car, as that one to "grab" in a hurry.

Both the lanyard and neck cords, have the 6mm washers that fit the handle screws.

I prefer a chest mount with a fast right hand draw, Other alternative is on you left pack strap with a quick downward pull.

This bodyguards has a Chi-Com rig and prefers it so he can show it off!

Looks good. Is that just the paracord securing the sheath? I havnt tried that method yet, but it looks to sit a lot closer than the tekloc. Is there much movement on it?

yes it is it holds it right to to my belt, and it holds it well.I'd like some kind of horizontal boot clip so I could just clip it right to my pants for even flatter carry.
