BTW...at the end of the passaround, we are going to draw for a winner and that person gets to keep the knife.

As a newbie, I had the same question. I looked around the site a bit and it seems that this is a way to "try out" the new knife by mailing it from person to person (insured) in the group. I guess everybody gets a certain number of days.

Did I get that right?

Yup, although some passarounds I've seen, the participants need to make a review of the knife. Which really is nice for the others that didn't get in on time. :)
 
Do you have to have been a member for a certain time to participate in this one?

...I think I might be too new. :(
 
Dunno, is this open to just Rat pack, or could I sneak in? I've been really curious about this one. :D
 
I think it is open to anyone with a certain number of posts, but I don't know for sure.

Yea mine ships tomorrow. If I touch the Hest, it wouldn't get passed anymore :) So I just bought one.
