H&K Folders question...

Hi guys,

I am considering purchasing this H&K folder http://www.warriorsandwonders.com/B...14255SBT_AXIS_Black_Blade_wSerration?cPath=59 and had a question. How do you know whether this is an assisted opening knife?

I like the looks of it but would really like it if its an AO.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I don't think it is AO. I have the 14205 which I think is the same knife just with a different blade shape and it is not assisted.

However, with an AXIS lock knife it is probably faster than an AO when you pull the lock bar and give the knife a flip with the wrist. You can also do the same thing to close it, pull back on the lock bar and flip it close. With an AO you will have to unlock it and then put pressure on the blade to overcome the spring and close the knife.
