I have 3 of the Benchmade H&Ks. A 14210 has been my EDC since I bought it a couple of months ago. I carried it a week and then bought a backup 'cuz I liked it so much. Next I bought a 14205 for woods/hiking/camping carry.
STR has a nice review of the 14205 in his forum here on BF. You might like to look it over.
I like the Benchmade H&Ks. I was carrying a mini-Ritter Grip until the 14210 showed up. I still like the Ritter blade shape as my all-time favorite blade shape, but the 14210 is a better overall knife package for me. The handle on the 14210 is better for me to grip than it is on the mini-Grip series. It's more comfortable side-to-side and I can get all 4 fingers around the handle on the 14210. The mini-Grip is about 1/4" too short because of that finger guard under the AXIS buttons.
I also like the 154CM steel that BM uses for the blades. 154CM and VG10 are my two favorite EDC folder steels. They're fairly tough, they hold a very sharp edge relatively well, and the edge comes back quickly with the right sharpening kit. I've never had a recurve before, even a mild one, but the corners of the Sharpmaker rods have this one slicing and push-cutting newsprint and phone book pages with no problems.
They're also pretty rugged. I've dropped my 14210 onto a concrete patio with no ill effects except a tiny dent (not a chip or a crack) in the G10 scale where it hit. Once I cleaned the concrete dust out of the G10, it's practically invisible.
The AXIS lock was unaffected by the whole event. That was always my worry. "Will the springs hold up if I drop an AXIS knife?" No problem. Both springs are in place and the lock works as well as it did before the fall.
So naturally, I'm looking at another one to b/u the b/u... just in case.
