To anyone that has this knife, can you tell me how it is? Does H&K make good knives? Looks like a great knife, great design, what do you guys think?

It is a great knife. Get it. The 14200 series from Benchmade may not get very much attention around here and I think it has to do with the fact that it's a fairly older design in the tactical folder market and that they're pretty easy to get a hold of. The design itself is one of the best BM has to offer I think.

Very good knife. H&K does not produce this knife. It is made by Benchmade, hence the quality, warranty and all the usual stuff.

If you're asking about the 14205 or the 14210, I can vouch for both of them. I'm carrying a 14210 right now. They are both fine knives. In fact, they're my fav BM products out of the current catalog. Very good blade steel, excellent locking system (AXIS), and extremely tough. I've dropped my 14210 on more than one occasion and it just keeps going. I've given a couple as gifts and they've been very well received.

i like my hk snody, im not sure which model it is, coyote brown handle, black blade, tanto style limited edition. great 154cm steel, and made in the USA. pulling the axis lock and flipping your wrist make for super fast deployment

great knife

My best BM is my HK 14210....an extremely well made knife. The machined G10 gives this knive an almost custom look. Throw in the cool Snody design and Axis lock and you have a great 3in knife.

Get one while you can.

Sorry about the mistake, I was on yourcornerstore.com and clicked H&K, did not know it was made by BM. I guess it is like clicking on Becker, when Becker is made by Ka-Bar now....Thank you for the info everyone.

The thing that got me about this knife for some reason is the thumb ramp and jimping, both look pretty functional, this is defintely my top 5 hit list for folders. I currently do not own any 154CM blade (so I think, I forget) I really am digging the way this knife looks.

I love them... Here's mine. I lost the box and can't remember which model this is but it is a great knife. My first Axis. I got mine from a fellow BF member. Thanks Gramps! It's not so pretty now, clip is all marred and there's plenty of scratches on the blade. I wanted to keep her mint but with no box I figured I might as well make her a user.

They are both fantastic folders. Fit and finish are superb and they flick open like a switchblade. THe 14210 is by far my favorite folder under $225. I really like Snody's designs. I actually ended up with two sets of these (HK14210 and HK14205) and am going to list one set for sale as I don't need two sets.

It is a great knife and one of my smoothest folders. I really like the axis lock too. The only thing I don't like is the 154cm steel, just not one of my favorites.

I have a 14255 (same knife with slightly different blade). I wish I had got the 14205, someday I just might.
Hands down one of the best folding knives out there. While it's not my absolute favorite, it's in the top five for sure.
