one of my buds is trying to sell me an old spyderco he got with a H&K SP89 back in the '90s, its one with the H&K logo cut into the blade, kinda like a spyderweb design, i am gonna check it out sunday, anyone seen one of these/know what its worth? its LNIB FWIW.

I assume it would be this one? It's a "Q", they made a lot of different company logos. Have no idea of value.

Original MSRP for the Q was around $45, street prices were generally around $30, and some were used as promotional items and given away. There are a lot of different blade designs and, while all have risen in value, some have risen far more than others. Aside from the Spyderco "bug" version, the H&K version is probably the most common and is the least valuable. Actual value depends on condition and, as with many collectible knives, drops considerably in not NIB. Q prices have been soft of late. I'd put a NIB H&K Q at between $50 and $75 but the last one to sell on eBay went for $135 a few days ago, so what do I know.
