H&K VP9 Accessories?

Hey guys. I'm not into the world of guns (yet) to the point where i'm knowledgeable like i am with knives. I've got a buddy who owns a VP9 (Former military) so he likes gear. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money but what accessories would he like that are under say 80$. Weapons lights? Etc. I'm talking more about the run of the mill stuff, not ergonomic or carry options.
 
Extra mags and ammo are always good, Streamlight makes good weapon lights/lasers, Maxpedition makes a great pistol case 8x10 or 8x12 - the 8x10 fits most full size and compact guns including the VP9- I have four of them
 
Agree with what's above...mags, ammo and a good cleaning kit.

HKs don't require fancy accessories.
 
HK Parts, Taylor freelance, and springer precision are all companies that offer extended magazine basepads that can add up to an additional 5 rounds. He might like those provided he lives in a state where they are legal.

Maybe a simple Safariland holster. They make some nice tough stuff, I use them for a lot of my gun gear they haven't failed me yet. A lot of my law enforcement friends use their gun & cuff cases, so they're duty tested too.
