H.O.S. II (Big Bowie)

This one started out as a khukuri profile, but my grinder didn't like that idea.

It is a little under 19 1/2 inches Overall with a 12-inch cutting edge. It is 1/4-inch 0-1 without much of a taper, so it's definitely a chopper.

Handle is green/black G-10 with stainless steel tubing.

Now that's a knife! I really like the swedge/clip and the recurve grind. I think I'd like the guard better if the topside had one as well. The handle looks great, too. Great design!

Big, mean, scary-looking thang !! A quick question, Michael - how are you finishing up on the grind ? Obviously its not a hand rubbed finish - actually gives it a very nice tactical look to it. Jason.

I finish it with a 400 grit then ran a maroon scotchbrite belt on it for a satin finish.
