I've got to say that I have been very impressed with my Pacific Salt in H1 steel. I've carried it while swimming in salt water, fresh water and even chlorinated swimming pool water, and there has been no rust at all. Other than sharpening, it has required no maintenance. Now I want a neck knife in H1 steel but I don't like serrated edges, so the Caspian Salt is a no go. Could there possibly be a non-serrated Caspian Salt offered in the future? Neck knifes are highly likely to come into contact with sweat and moisture, and H1 steel is ideal for these conditions.
And while I'm wishing away, how about making a massive Spyderco folder with a five inch cutting edge? Yeah, I know that no one really needs a folder with a blade longer than an Endura 4's, but I've got way more knives than I need; now I'm just buying what I want. Make an up-scaled Endura with a five inch edge. Call it the EnduraXL, or what have you. I'm just wishing.
