  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Hachas Jauregi? Are they still being made?

yes i think so but the blacksmith is getting old, and very scarse due to production number of items and export problems

Quite a few are available. Possibly, like other items hand made, the stock has not arrived yet. There's an option to notify when available, I think.
Wish they had longer handles!

Easy enough to make your own handles since they're a slip fit eye!

I will probably try making a longer one. For me, finding the right piece of ash might be the hardest part.
I've always bought premade handles, but now is a good time to learn.

There are shops that sell hickory boards, or you can use an off-the-shelf pick axe handle and shave that down.
