Missed out on the HACK... can anyone tell me about them... what are the chances of a fella picking one up this late in the game and about what are they going for on the secondary market?

Here's a search of the X for HACKs

They ar INFI butta knifes!! Very small like the three finger, David Brown had a good picture thread you can see a few post pages back. You can get em second hand from $150 to $250 depending on the handle which is what they were offered from Busse for.

Ask and and you shall receive... I may have a chance to get one of these lovely little monsters... YAY! Something about tiny INFI just tickles me.

From what I understand at this point there are regular and LE versions... what are the blade length and thickness of the CG and LE Versions? If the same... what is the difference? Finish and handle material? Thanks guys.

Here is an LE, you could choose satin or double cut...

Please explain... I've seen the term Double Cut but I always thought it meant a second grind... like where some variants will have a cutting edge on the back of the blade... never knew it was a finish classification... what is it?

I thought that double cut meant it had been bead blasted, then given an edge. I guess I need the proper explaination as well.

Double cut is a bead blasted finish to reduce glare such as with a Satin finish. It has no reference to a clip point or a type of edge.

Neat-o works now, Thanks Jimmy :D

The Busse double cut finish is actually two different bead blastings. The second bead blast is with a finer blast medium than the first to close off the "pores" left by the first bead blast in order to increase corrosion resistance.

Hence the name, "double cut."
