Had little time to take some pics today. A culti and Game Warden came with me along with a Buck Folder and a woodsman 2 of my favorites and a Southfork I just got, which so far I am liking.

That fixed blade buck, is that a 102?

Another question, is that the bodyguard with the crimson trace laser or the insight?

yep 102 woodsman great knife. And yes its the Bodyguard "2nd gen" with the new crimson trace (I believe) laser they sent me to replace the "Insight Laser"... Much better the crimson. The insight proved to be a poor design. This new one is more robust in comparison. Hopefully it holds up better which I think it will. I carry it daily in a deSantis pocket holster.

I've carried the original insight laser in my bodyguard since it came out everyday iwb and never had it come on, not once. I never saw the need to change... Different strokes....

I have a buck 102 from 1983 that my father bought for my grandfather the day I was born.Still in the package

Nice I have my grandfathers vintage 102 also... I love that fat sorta hollow grind they used to do. I bought a new one for traveling so I didn't loose his. I wish they would still use that fatish hollowish grind they used to do. Lots of meat on the blade.

As for my insight laser... It fell apart. Sensor tabs and that made contact with the buttons. Both mine and my Dads. I was camping when failed in my back lot. A bobcat started making racket at me or a deer and I went for the laser and.... nothing lol wasn't gonna shoot it but wanted it on none the less. The new buttons have a positive click type feel too. I think you would like the new one it really is an improvement.
