I had a very successful show at Harrisonburg this weekend. Two-day show - Friday and Saturday.
Good crowd and lots of them buying. I usually sell more to dealers than the public, but this year it was 50/50.
I sold around 100 blocks/scales in really nice quilted and curly maple. I had it dyed red, brown, and black ... plus a lot left natural. This year I cut most of it into scales of varying thickness and bookmatched them. That seemed to be a real big attraction.
Also sold more knives and stuff than usual. One knife I finished just before the show I wanted to get good photos of, but it went almost immediately. It was a bunka-bocho with the blade in mokume-san-mai. Handle was some very chatoyant quilted brown dyed maple that looked like the mokume pattern.. Sold some other nice kitchen blades including a curly maple yanagi-ba with a suminagashi clad blade.
Saw a few forumites there.
I took some photos of the table and will post them when I get home later today.
