I am finding navigating there site a nightmare so maybe someone can help where to send it in the U.S.? Or do I have to send it to Switzerland?

Yes thank you, I found that area before but I guess I am missing something? Sorry they are just not making it clear for people who do not navigate these sites ever.

Seriously?

Click the dropdown menu for Victorinox, I recommend "Cutlery"

https://service.swissarmy.com/ProductEdit.aspx

Proceed from there....if that doesn't work, you can always call. The shipping address is this:

Victorinox Swiss Army Inc. Repair Center
7 Victoria Dr
Monroe, CT 06468

Yes seriously! For repairs it is asking for account numbers In the original link you provided. I have no account number? Going to cutlery you just get the products they sell. I will just toss it and order a new one which is much easier and quicker.

TRUE LIBERTY, if you in the states, you could send it to me & I'll bring it to the repair center, I'm about 40-45 mins away. They will take care of it. Gary

First, go here:

https://service.swissarmy.com/

Go to the bottom of the page, where it says "Enter New Repair" and select "I am a consumer." You do not have an account number, so you have nothing to enter there. Click on "Create New Repair Request."

That takes you to the next screen, "ADD NEW PRODUCT."

For "Product Type," pull down the menu and select "Cutlery."

The "Pre-Approval Amount" of $10.00 is for handling and return shipping.

Describe the problem in "Notes" (you can expand the box by clicking and pulling on the cross-hatched lower right corner).

Under "Please Click all that apply" click either "Under Warranty" or "New Purchase" if you have a sales receipt, and be prepared to upload a small digital photograph or scanned image. Select "New Purchase" if in your opinion you were doing something ridiculous that might void Victorinox's limited lifetime warranty, and check the box "Estimate Required." If you have no proof of purchase, click "Sentimental" and possibly "Estimate Required" depending on the damage.

If nothing else, this thread underscores (a) how much the Victorinox site sucks, and (b) that some people can't help but be dicks to people asking questions in good faith.

It looks like you finally got some good answers. Best of luck, TL.

I'm fortunate to be close to the service center, I dropped off two knives to have handles repaired ( replaced ) went into the store dropped them off was told they would ship them out when repaired, couldn't picked them up which was alittle unusual but they shipped it when done, the turn around was about 2 weeks, then I get a bill for $5.00 after, but I still find the service great. If anyone has an issue to send it to them that's here in the states, if anyone wants to send it to me & I'll bring it to them, I'm not asking for any money, you pay for shipping costs ect. Gary
