Yeah, not real happy with the one on the wood inlay. Not found the right stuff I have been looking for to put on it.

I see nothing wrong with them. Those lanyards/fob match each knife nicely.

Are those small 21’s and are you using gutted 550 cords?

They are large, using gutted cord. I was thinking more of a leather one for the wood with a nice stone or bone bead in the center that matches the wood. Very hard to find stone beads with large holes.

Have not been able to find a bead for the wood inlay. I ordered a spalted maple pen blank to make my own.

Making wooden lanyard beads out of a wooden pen blank sounds like an excellent idea. Please post pix of your beads.

Will do. Think I have all the stuff to do it well. Going to finish it with aqua fortis.linseed oil and a coat of wax. Wish I had a scrap piece of mammoth ivory to do a stacked one. I do have some deer antler I could do something with.

Messed around with the antler. Left some stag on one while removing it from the other. Think they came out ok for only having a dremel tool, work sharp, drill and a buffing wheel. They have some good gloss to them the camera didn't pick up.

The smooth one on a fob. Think I will wait and make a spalted maple for the wood inlay and get some better matching leather.
Love the lanyard pin on Sebenzas, lets you use one strand of cord in stead of the normal loop to attach it.

Got the pen blank today. Took longer than I thought but I think it will look good on the spalted beech Sebenza. It has the look of tiger eye stone when moved around in the light.
