good god tell me about it! That BF is downright nasty and I almost bought the BearPaw 3 x times!!
 
I picked up a very nice Hiking Buddy on KSF this morning for $325. However, with the prices on TKC, my collection just increased in value by about 20%!
 
Obviously merchants are free to charge whatever they want and as I understand they come with what appears to be a decent sheath, but TKC is outrageous IMO. Would rather not have the sheath and pay a reasonable price for the knife. Just sayin'.
 
Does anyone know what a "matte" finish on the handle that is described on TKC's website? I have not seen this description used by Andy/Ken before when describing handle configurations. Could it possibly be a sandblasted handle?

I agree about the prices. In fact it was the prices that kept me from buying more than one. But I just couldn't resist that Runt.

I assume it means the sandblasted handle as well.
