just dont pass something off as being a "testing just for the sake of testing just to see how far i can go til i break something bull"

there is other considerations in his testing and website.........

you cant kid a kidder my friend.............and yes btw i like the videos..........................even tho they are useless in a way..........

I like the videos just for the entertainment value and if he can make a few bucks from his site then maybe use that cash to buy and test more knives then good for him!

i think people can form their own opinions as to what noss is or is not trying to pass off, just like you are, just like everyone else did in that original thread, why make another?

How much money do you think he makes per click? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm honestly curious. If it'll fund his tests, well I think that's great. Not like it doesn't take time and resources (aka money) to do what he does.

Its not a pay per click it's a referral I only make money if someone clicks and buys something from amazon and it isn't very much. Anything helps. I am not rich by any means so I will take what I can get to help fund all of this.

what is your goal? If this is such a financial burden on you, why would you do it? To attract a small following of clueless internet denizens? A cry for attention?

It is apparent to pretty much everyone, excepting those few mentioned above, that you know about as much about knives as you do particle metaphysics.

He has specifically shunned offers from manufacturers to give him expensive knives insisting instead that he will buy the knives himself.

What is absolutely apparent to absolutely everyone is that you, Mr. Finkenstein, are way, way out of line on this (and in other posts on this subject as well). I don't do this very often (which makes it even more serious when I do), but I'm going to go ahead and make a direct personal attack here: Mr. Finkenstein, you are an idiot; shut up!

What I see there is

a) Respected forum member MikePerrin break the generally accepted rule of not posting private correspondence without the other party's consent. I was a bit shocked by that and felt is somewhat shameful.

b) Several members, but Mr. Finkenstein in particular, making more personal attacks which could result in some bannings. Folks, Mr. Noss4 is not worth getting yourself banned over.

c) That Mr. Noss4 is toying with changing how he acquires the knives for his testing. That would be a mistake on his part, IMHO. But, as long as he makes clear how he acquires each knife, then it would be ok. As long as he's open and honest about how each knife was acquired when he publishes the test results, then it's ok.

I agree! Rat is rampant with personal attacks on other posters. What is sad is that he gets by with it.
