I was lucky enough to do some golfing this past weekend and, for some reason, on my way to the course I decided to toss my 526 Executive into my pocket (usually I reserve it for church, weddings, etc.). I was reminded what a phenomenal little gentleman's pocketknife this one is. In that role, I honestly believe it stacks up against other knives that cost WAY more. Kind of like a plain chrome Zippo lighter, its simplicity and elegant appearance are its appeal -- plus, of course, its functionality (while a small "penknife," it is still a Buck, afterall!). I've decided to tote it to work for awhile, letting it get out of the apartment for some fresh air. (Don't worry, guys, it's not like I have conversations with it! :p ) Since I work in an office, 90 percent of my daytime knife usage involves peeling fruit and opening letters. Anyway, just thought I'd give a shout out to what I consider the best Sunday go to meetin' knife going. :)

Why the 526 is not one of our best sellers has always baffled me. I love the way it disapears into my pants pocket. The beveled edges on the handle give it a special look and the size is perfect for most everyday chores. And it is a lock back, which i prefer. This knife has always been one of my favorites and I own several still.
