Hello from the Ozarks
I am new to knife making and I have recently sold a knife to a customer on line and they are worried about a hair line crack in the walnut scale and how they can repair it.
It looks to me to be shallow crack that's more cosmetic than structural. is there a quick fix or should I have them return it to me and replace the handle?

I have heard of people filling in those kinds of defects with superglue but this would require refinishing the handle.

You may want to post this in "General Knife Makers Discussion" as most here in "General Knife Discussion" are just regular Joes and collectors.

My personal opinion is if you built it and your customer has a complaint it is your duty to make him satisfied, ask them what they want.

Bill, Welcome to Shop Talk. We help each other with all sorts of learning here, but we also all have to follow the rules ( you agreed to them when you joined the forum).
Please, either get a knifemaker membership or don't discuss sales here. Discussing repairs is fine, just leave the sales talk out of it.
