nice job, what version wicked edge, and stones? what angle, micro bevel?
-Gen 3 pro
-17deg (why anyone would ever have to go more acute on a user is beyond me, shallower is for posing only imo)
-diamond stones through 1500 grit
-glass platten with diamond lapping film to 0.5micron
-no micro bevel
That's very nice...how does it cut?
How does it cut?... well enough to do a controlled whittle on a hair without severing it
seriously though, it is sooooo sharp that...
-I have to keep in alone in dark room because just looking at it is enough cut your eyeball.
-Even though it is a 5 inch blade, A guy I loaned it to in Africa beheaded a water buffalo in one stroke.
-I have to keep it in a cpm 10V sheath lined in diamond dust because it kept cutting through the kydex.
-The apex becomes metaphysically 2 dimensional, and may, if used irresponsibly, cut a rift in our multidimensional universe.
If you mean how does it cut compared to a toothier edge, then I would say better. The more I look at these edges under a microscope and test the mirror polish, the more I think the advantage of a toothy edge is exaggerated. A more obtuse or convex edge will of course not whittle hairs as well, but will, I think, be a better compromise for durability.
Thanks for looking guys
