Hairy Carry 4.0 question.

Can somebody who's got one please measure the blade height (edge to spine) of the Hairy Carry 4.0? I had one and sold it but I want to see how it compares to the Rodent Solution in this aspect as I've got a couple Solutions coming:thumbup: Thanks!

Mine is 1'' 3/32 but it's a special edition made in 2008. The newest one's might be a bit different.

My HCLE 4.0 is 1.097 near the choil. .173 thick (just under 3/16) 8" 5/8 o.a.l. So half an inch shorter.
Very similar specs., but.5" shorter o.a.l.
Sorry it took so long for an answer, but I have been working out of town, away from the collection.:grumpy:

Thanks guys! Helps a lot. I think I'm really going to like the Solution. :thumbup: I liked the blade of the Hairy Carry but it just didn't feel right in hand and didn't beg to be used. The Solution with similar blade specs but 1/2" shorter and that handle should do the trick.
