I want to sell a large portion of my unused blades and donate the proceeds for Haitian disaster relief.

I am thinking of giving to proceeds to Doctors Without Borders. However I am open to suggestions. I do not want to blow it on organizations that spend more on overhead cost than actual relief work.

I would also like to provide proof of the proceeds destination to a senior member/moderator of this forum for forum display.

I am very new to this kind of activity so any guidance and help setting up would be appreciated.

This can go one of two ways....

By mentioning you are selling knives for Haiti relief there is the chance that some people may think you are selling under false pretenses...thinking that mentioning donating the money will bring in the quick sales and keeping the cash for yourself.

OR

You can just sell them here as you normally would without mentioning Haiti and what you do with the money afterward is your business. If you feel that after the knives are sold you want to show what you did with the money...that's fine.

I'm sure you can see my point.
