A short distance from the Capital of Port - au - Prince, only six miles below the earth. 7.0 earthquake with at least one 5.9 aftershock. Hospital collapse, it's a mess. Tsunami warning in the Carribean.

No, it didn't.

Haiti is roughly 700 miles away from Miami, I'm a little down on my tsunami knowledge to be honest. I wonder if that warning extends to Florida and perhaps the other parts of the U.S.

Leads us to all sorts of strange possibilities and precautions if we live in places that could be hit by a tsunami.

They lifted the tsunami warning and, apparently, the airport is functional.
I was in Haiti about 10 years ago. What a mess.
Those folks suffer on a good day.

It's crazy how the scenery completely changes when you cross the border into the D.R.
2 different planets on one little island.
