Now that the Master, Horn Dog, has finished his BWM, I can post pics of my meager efforts.
When I started back on Saturday, it was sunny and 38F. Since then, Winter has finally started and we got over 6 of snow, so this project is only half done and I decided to post the WIP.
So I got my new BWM, love the skinny INFI, blah, blah, blah and all that.
We all know that a nekkid Mistress is the best kind. Lets strip her!
Before, with clothes on.
Here is the stuff I use. Cheap poly paint brush, scraper, stainless scrub brush, plastic paint tray, standard paint stripper.
Just slather the stuff on. In my experience, stripper does not harm micarta or G10, so you can just slop it on everywhere. This time I simply chose to leave the tang coated.
After the first 10 minutes and a scraping
Another coating, another 10 minutes, scrape it down, and finish with the brush. Then rinse it all off down the driveway with the garden hose.
The usual fugly INFI, gray color, pits, and all. At least three of us have noted this line of pits just below the spine. One guy got lucky, didnt see this.
Turns out there is a swedge the full length of the spine.
