Any Forum member who wishes to attend the Knives Illustrated Spirit of Steel Show in Grapevine, Texas at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center (behind the Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine--I-635) will get 1/2 off the $8.00 daily admission if they print off this post and present it at the cashiers. (Limit one per person).
The Cutting Competition is open to both stock removal and forgers and is sponsored by the ICCT (International Cutting Championship Trail) and will be at 4:30 on Saturday.
Demonstrations are by the American Bladesmiths Society and include Jim Crowell, Bert Gaston, Johnny Stout, Wally Pollack, John Fitch, and Jerome Anders.
Show opens at 3 p.m. on Friday to the public, closes at 6 p.m. 9-6 Saturday, 9-4 Sunday.
Free shuttle from DFW Airport, approx. 5 minutes away.
